Events at Lanes
Our programme includes tribute nights, seasonal dinners and special occasions throughout the year. Many events combine live entertainment with food prepared by the Lanes kitchen, while others are available on a ticket only basis. The individual event listing will explain exactly what is included.
Events are open to hotel residents and local guests. Advance booking and full payment are required, as many dates sell out.
Booking an event
Advance booking is required for most ticketed events. Full payment must be made when booking to secure your place; an enquiry or provisional reservation is not a confirmed booking.
Event payments are non-refundable. However, if you can no longer attend, you may transfer your tickets to another person but they may have to eat your food choices. Please tell us in advance so we can update the booking details.
For events that include a choice of food, we will send the menu with your confirmation. Completed pre-orders must reach us at least 10 days before the event
On the night
Timings may vary by event, but a typical tribute night follows this schedule:
Arrive from 6pm for drinks
Dinner served from 6.30pm
First performance at approximately 8.30pm
Second performance at approximately 9.45pm
Bar closes at midnight
Drinks are not included unless the event listing says otherwise. The full bar remains open during the evening.
Seating is arranged in a sociable party style. We will try to seat groups together, but smaller parties may share a table with other guests.
Guests are welcome to dress for the theme of the evening.
Make a night of it
Lanes has 30 bedrooms, so you can stay at the hotel after the event and enjoy breakfast the following morning. Special accommodation rates are available for event guests, subject to availability.
Please contact reception after booking your event tickets to ask about the applicable room rate.
Taxis can be limited locally, particularly late at night. Please arrange your return journey in advance, as the hotel is unable to book taxis on behalf of guests.
