Weddings at Lanes
Lanes is licensed for civil ceremonies, allowing you to hold your wedding, reception and evening celebration in one place. With four acres of gardens, flexible event spaces, on site dining and 30 bedrooms, your guests can settle in and enjoy the occasion without travelling between venues.
Dylan, our wedding coordinator, will work with you from the early planning stages through to the day itself. Supported by our wider events team, he will help you create a celebration that feels like yours
One venue, arranged around your day
The restaurant, private dining room and lounge can each be used for your ceremony, wedding breakfast or reception. The rooms can be arranged in different ways as the day moves from one part of the celebration to the next.
We can accommodate up to 100 guests for a civil ceremony and wedding breakfast. For an evening celebration using the wider hotel, capacity extends to 350 guests.
Outdoor ceremonies can also take place in the gardens, with an indoor alternative agreed in case the weather changes.
Exclusive use of the hotel is available, and we host only one wedding on any given day. This means the focus remains on you, your guests and your plans
Food and drink for your wedding
Choose from our wedding menus or work with the team to create something more personal. We can provide food throughout the day, from canapés and the wedding breakfast to evening dishes and late-night snacks.
Drinks packages are available, and our team can help you select wines and other drinks to suit your menu, plans and budget.
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary requirements can all be accommodated. Please give us full details in advance so the kitchen can plan and prepare each guest’s food appropriately
Stay together at Lanes
With 30 bedrooms, including four self-contained apartments and our penthouse suite, your guests can stay at the hotel and enjoy the celebration without arranging transport at the end of the evening.
We can reserve a block of bedrooms at preferred wedding guest rates, with better discounts available for guests staying for more than one night. Arriving the day before gives everyone time to settle in, while staying the following night can make the celebration feel less rushed.
The penthouse can be reserved as the bridal suite and is charged at the agreed wedding rate. Our apartments are particularly useful for families, groups and members of the wedding party preparing together.
Breakfast is included for resident wedding guests.
Four acres of outdoor space
The hotel is set within four acres of green space, with open lawns, mature trees, a stream, bridge and small island. The courtyard, terrace and outdoor seating provide further areas for guests to gather.
The gardens can be used for outdoor ceremonies, drinks receptions and photographs, with several different settings within a short walk of the hotel. As part of the planning process, we will also agree an indoor alternative in case the weather changes.
